Bananas usually grow in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, and South Korea lies in a temperate zone with four distinct seasons. Since 2012, however, South Korea’s average annual temperature has gone through a continuous warming trend, creating near-perfect conditions for growing bananas.

That's only one kind of banana. Some Southeast Asian countries have varieties of them. It may affect a little but it is not really a loss.

That's is why most of banana plantation has aerial tractor or aerial spraying to control sigatokoa and its hard to survive without it. In the Philippines growers using drones to survive, because airtractors are expensive to maintain.
