I bought mine in new in 1980, along with a pair of Yamaha NS1000M's. It's still my favourite Amp/Speakers combination. Apart from vinyl, CD's, cassette and R2R tape, I use this combination with my Roland RD500 digital piano. I also love the 1980 catalogue of Sansui products, as it was filled with quality Hi-Fi.

My name is not doris lol just found one of these au.919 s in a garage and my mate gave it me for nothing I know a little bit about amps and into systems for a long time this is the oldest amp I have had and need to know 5peekers are best 2 go with it I don't want 80s or 70s stuff anything from the 90s till now are tannoy good for this one? I have had tannoy sixes in the past with the marble top and baw speakers floor standing ones or do I need 2 spend more money on them I can afford £500 £600 on them I am thinking about second hand ones? Wat would you do I am stuck without help
