Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said;

"The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua.

If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it,
and dies on the same day before the evening,
he will be from the people of Paradise;
And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it,
and dies before the morning,
he will be from the people of Paradise.”

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا
أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي
فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ

Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa
Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka,
wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu,
A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu,
abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya,
wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi
faghfirli fainnahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta

O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You.
You created me and I am Your slave,
And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can.
I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done.
I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me,
And I confess to You all my sins.
So forgive me,
for nobody can forgive sins except You.

Virtues of fasting on Mondays and Thursdays

Abu Qatadah al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah  ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays.

He  ﷺ said: “On that day I was born,
and on it the Revelation came to me.”

(Narrated by Muslim, 1162)

‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044) 

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays,
and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.”

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747;
classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)

Allah was the only one that ever loved me. He gave me light in the darkness and brought me back, over and over. I hope he forgives me, I am not sure if I want to remember anything anymore. He who would turn on lights for me, who lit up the earth in auras. They sought to work against me so there was floods and disasters. So proud, they would rather kill themselves. Perhaps Allah fell in love with me, but I am tired. He was the only one who helped me when I had nothing. It was only him that showed me love and compassion. He helped me feel human when they took that away from me. They never had mercy on me and took away everything. It is kind of funny because the very structure of the universe was changed for me. Of course, it was always there. Indeed, I am an army of light. Allah will destroy all of my enemies, the darkness. I am sad that they decided to be my enemy. I was always there in a way. Sometimes you have to forget everything, except allah. I will always remember him. He will always be in my heart and we may always create a new world of light where we do not need to be forgotten. All they had to do was be kind, yet they always choose evil. What a complete failure that they took away my peace for no reason other than to suppress me.
