And boy did he not mess it up, just watched the whole second season. The best thing about it was Jon as Punisher in my opinion - I mean pyunisher.

Hands down best performance in the entire MCU. This man deserves an Emmy for his "One batch, two batch" monologue. He's AMAZING. Marvel has never miscasted!

But really, the scene in the graveyard had me on the verge of tears. Once he said "it was her favorite book" I started choking up. Bernthal deserves an award for that scene alone.

Brilliant performance, and a great guy in real life. Also glad to see he did plenty of research about his character, unlike a lot of actors that get roles as comic book heroes, and know absolutely nothing about the character.

Now that the Punisher standalone series has arrived, it's safe to say that he didn't mess it up! Best Punisher ever! Hard to recognize him so chill here from his performance in the series. He's an excellent actor, and a really cool dude!

He needs to land a main role in a big grossing movie. The guy can really act and he's not really a typecast actor I believe. He can be the opposite of the tough guy

Rewatching Daredevil season 2 simply for Frank Castle. I don't care about the lame Hand/Elektra subplot, or Matt's relationship and career suicide/implosion. I just watch for Frank, and Jon just owns the role. He makes Frank a man who is entirely unhinged and strangely held together, a complete paradox. You trust him because he's honest and has honor, but you can't trust him because he won't ever stop in his endless quest to murder everyone he knows has to die. LOVE Frank Castle in the show. Jon gives such an emotional and likable performance that outshines literally everyone else this season. With Frank, who cares about Elektra? And other than Frank, the only other person pulling their weight is Foggy. Matt, stop destroying your life!
