Cllr Mike Chester thanks all who placed flowers in memory of the Queen

Thank you to everyone who paid their respects to the Queen by laying flowers and thank you to our volunteers who have now begun collecting these tributes.

The Abbey Gardens Friends and the Volunteers based out of Nowton Park are helping us sift through the floral tributes on Friday (30 September) at Nowton Park.

Following the national guidance, flowers will be separated from the plastic and the messages will be kept. These flowers will then be composted and used to nourish West Suffolk’s environment.
