For me, as a half pakistani child, this movie has a special meaning.
I think all mixed children live this struggle of identifying themselves of either western or eastern.

Brilliant movie! His first wife depicts faithfulness and devotion to her husband seldom ever to be found again and which the new generation could never relate to. Very emotional.

watchd it yesterday real good movie, east is east was kinda against religion, but this isnt, its more bout culture that was in pakistan( pakistan an india were like the same bak then ) this one is more emotional than funny, bout sajid tryin to find his identity as a pakistani
