Once again I've gone to Project Euler for inspiration, and I've recently managed to solve their latest problem on two occasions. The current latest problem involved a nice spiral formation, which looked kind of familiar; I've played with the basic idea before, but my approximate approach dosn't help solve this problem, nor does it work cleanly with seed images. So I learned some new numerical methods to solve it properly.
