A few years ago, we asked our Mexican mamás to rank classic Mexican snacks based on how tasty were! 2 years have passed since then so we're asking the mamás this question again! The moms are trying Mexican snacks they tried before and ranking them to see if their opinion or taste has changed from that time! Some of the Mexican snacks they tried include Takis, frozen Gansito, Duritos, Paleta Payaso, Japanese Peanuts, Chocoroles, Churrumais, and Mamut! Have you ever tried any of these Mexican snacks and treats before?

I love all these Mexican snacks. Especially Gansito, Bubu Lubu, and Pinguinos! They are all delicious. Mexico has some really good snacks. Love them! 🇲🇽 🇲🇽 😋 😋

For the unitiated to Mexico, when Lucy is talking about putting lemon on Duritos; she is most likely talking about what we call a lime since yellow lemons don't generally exist (except at Gringo resorts), and Mexicans call limes lemons. To a Mexican, a lime is a different type of citrus fruit. Same when Xochitl talks about putting the misltranslated "lemon" on Japanese peanuts. She is saying "lime" and not the yellow gringo lemon. Limon means both lemon or lime in Mexico, but when Mexicans use it they are generally talking about limes.

My go to chipotle is….white rice, black beans, lettuce, corn, steak and chicken, extra cheese, and sour cream, and the chips and a root beer

I'm with Lucy on takis. I asked my mom if they were stale tortillas the first time I tried them. 😭 love the other Mexican snacks. Duros de harina were my favorite childhood snack besides cacahuate con chile y limon. Sabritones and muncheros is the closest I can get to those clear bags of flavor magic.
