I really like how passionate he is about the food and that he makes videos teaching people stuff not only showing off his skills.

Thanks Gordon. As a single dad I am learning and practicing your teachings with my kids. We are eating better and bonding over your teachings. Thanks man!

Director: Gordon, camera's ready, come and chop these peppers
Gordon: I gotta take a piss first
Director: Pepper, chop, now.

I really do hate it how everyone assumes because of his TV personality that Gordon's legitimately a shit person. Hell, half of the reason he swept across America was because he tried to save restaurants that were failing. Quite heartwarming when it actually worked.

Gordon is always bouncing around like has to piss but the director won't let him

0:10 - "This is a soft herb, so treat it with some respect. Like people go mad chopping herbs, all the goodness comes out on the board, I want the goodness left inside the basil".

Imagine Christopher Walken saying those exact lines.

If anyone is wondering why Gordon's nails and cuticles look damaged, it's because they are. Being a chef myself the only way to learn is by repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat! and unfortunately you do cut yourself a lot at the start. I've cut through my middle nail at least 10 times. I've even cut the tip of my for finger off lol. but now ive trained for almost 10 years and no longer cut myself (as offen) Takes time and years of pure dedication to be a quality chef. Anyone who says Gordon isn't a quality chef is clearly jealous or blind.

I used to think he was a loud mouth show off but I've been watching many of his kitchen disasters and how he fixes the problems. I have questions about how he accomplishes so much in 5 days but he gets things done- the right way. I get a kick out of some of the restaurant owners/chefs/cooks who say Gordon doesn't know what he's talking about. With restaurants in 4 countries and multiple shows on tv (cooking competitions, the hotel and kitchen disasters series)he certainly knows what he's talking about. I really do admire him and have learned alot to use in my own home kitchen. Thanks, Gordon
