Also maybe the so particular hull shape of the HC 16 allows to plane reducing drag so speed increasing all time .

You have some great videos on the difference between a single line retrieval and split halyard and tackline for the spinnaker. Could you show how the tackline is rigged from end to end? I’m not sure, I’ve seen how the retrieval part of the tackline works.

I currently have my NACRA 580 rigged with a single line spinnaker and its massively difficult to pull on the tension of this single line.

Hoping to break up the tackline, for easier hoisting and retrieval.

Hello Joe,
coming back to the topic "main sail twist" I have a question may be as a preload:
You said if we tighten the main sheet the LOWER tell tale which you showed about in the middle of the sail would disappear first.
I have only two of them at the top of my sail but I observed something different.
Isn´t it the UPPER tell tale that disappears first when bringing tension to the leech?

Hi Joe, I sail a hobie fx one and in a few weeks I’ll be sailing “ronde om Texel” in Holland. What do you recommend as best setup/ trim of this boat ?
I’m about 90kg in weight.
