Well well well... looks who's back.

Hey guys!! As a special announcement for the one year anniversary of Episode 1, we wanted to let you all know we're back to making Adventure Mode! But why only now? Well, let's get to a quick Q&A on exactly that and some other important things!

Q: What took you so long??

A: To make a very complicated story short, we made Adventure Mode Ep 1 under the umbrella of Mob Entertainment, set to release on their and ZAMination's YouTube channels. All of our original team who worked on it (Anthony, Avalon, Elijah, Madeline, Scott, and Micah from ZAMination) had an absolute blast and I think that really shined through! All six of us REALLY hoped to continue it. When ZAMination and Mob ended up separating, Adventure Mode's future seemed very uncertain. Eventually, ZAMination actually acquired the rights to Adventure Mode and more recently kindly gave them to us so we could continue it as a passion project!! We are super grateful, and that leads us to the next question:

Q: What the heck is “Coffin Cat”?

A: Coffin Cat is us! And we are Coffin Cat. Without a bigger company above us owning the project, we wanted a name for ourselves (Adventure Mode isn’t the only thing we want to make!). Coffin Cat is Anthony, Avalon, Elijah, and Madeline, or as you know us: Norman, Bubbles, Bonehead, and Stiffany! We’re still the same people making the same show. Just a new name. (Also shoutout Mary who’s joining us now!!)

Q: Sooo when episode 2????

A: For full transparency that’s a little harder to answer. Though we do have freedom to make Adventure Mode on our own now, it also means it’s no longer our full time jobs. This is now a personal passion project for us. In some ways that’s good, but it also means we can’t dedicate 8 hours a day to making it (some days on Ep 1 were much longer than 8 hours 😅). As such, deadlines are a hard thing to confidently follow through on and it definitely takes us longer now than it did then. That said, we are aiming for the first half of 2025 and are relatively confident we can do it. After this, we are carefully planning other ways to increase consistency of content post-Ep 2. Don’t worry though, we’re not only going to make shorts!! Our core passion is full length episodes and the winding story we’ve planned out, and can’t wait for you to meet lots of fun characters and see our main cast grow and change.

i love how its a mix of regular Minecraft and animation. the characters walk like in Minecraft but they move their arms and faces in animation

I personally would find it much cooler if the series were in 2D animation style, with the characters in the style shown in their short descriptions.
