Anybody that has knowledge about the Israeli military is aware they're known to modify and improve everything they get their hands on. It may look like an old French jet, or it may look like an old F-16, not when the Israelis get done with it, not by a long shot.

I saw with my own eyes in the First Lebanon War 1982. A kafir kills a MiG 25 which came for a photo sortie. At high altitude, at high speed, with an air-to-air missile made by Rafael. Short, fast and elegant.

The Israeli Air Force ordered the Mirage planes from the French company Dassault. Marcel Dassault (French: Marcel Dassault; born Marcel Bloch, January 22, 1892 – April 17, 1986) was a French Jewish aircraft manufacturer and founder of the Dassault Aviation Company. His brother was Paul Bloch Dassault, a French general. Mirage 3 was designed, built and tested according to the definition of the Israeli Air Force. He shot down about 400 enemy planes in the 1960s. Mirage 5 like it was designed to replace it. Because of the French embargo, Israel had to create it alone. Under the name "Nesher" he shot down 102 planes in the 1970s. Kafir was designed to replace it. It was used as a sophisticated attack and interception aircraft. Most of his activities are secret to this day. Israel had to cancel the development of the "Lavi" in order not to waste money on a Delta aircraft with competitive capabilities to the F16. In Europe, several Delta aircraft were created at the same time, which are still operated by air forces. They didn't realize the genius potential of this configuration

Respect for the Israel nation who achieve technology more than any other nation in spite of their limitations. I am glad they show the de Gaul government that they will not be intimidated by their troll attitude.

Only problem I see is the lack of FBW technology but I think IAI has a solution for that

Inside knowledge:
Israel’s strength lies not in any single individual but in its people. While Netanyahu may be a prominent figure, his impact is secondary to the contributions of our army, Shabak, Mossad, doctors, engineers, and other vital professionals. The perseverance and success of our nation are attributable to these collective efforts, rather than any one person. The political landscape, unfortunately, is marred by corruption, akin to that seen in many other regions

The Kfir is an interesting fighter jet made in Israel. We have seen several videos about the different versions and upgrades of the Kfir, so it isn’t entirely clear what version of the Kfir is available on the open market. Assuming the Kfir C-10 is one of the benchmark versions of the plane, it would be a cost-effective alternative to modern fighter jets. It would give operators considerable ability at a much lower cost.

But the market for fighter jets is difficult to predict. There are several alternatives to the Kfir, and the marketing & lobbying by different makers must be intense—bribery, not withstanding. But an open and transparent purchase of the Kfir C-10 version would be a viable option for users. There has to be some sensible limit on how much technology an air force really needs for a country’s defense.
