Seeing two of my favorite communities collaborating is insane. After KAJI's collaborations with DJ Myosuke, I knew this was gonna be fire and I am glad it is.

I love the "VS." concept of having the produced track have some crazy sounds and the beatboxers repeating/imitating it through beatbox.

Personally, it's kinda hard to tell which beatboxer is performing after the produced parts since the beatboxing here is pretty tech-oriented so stuff like lip rolls, basses, and some other sounds don't really get to push through. Despite that, you can still tell who it is sometimes from some of their signature (or commonly used) sounds like KAJI's laser sound in 0:37 & 1:38 and Kohey's hollow clop combo in 1:07

There is definitely some processing on the beatboxing and I appreciate that it's not distorted enough that the beatboxing is indistinguishable, you can still tell it's beatboxing and the processing enhanced it especially for the hardcore, "rhythm game"-esque genre.

Hopefully, more beatbox collabs will appear in the future. And since half of SARUKANI already appeared here, it's possible to have the entire group in the future. Love this track, love this label, love these beatboxers. Big ups!


(Edit: Some international beatboxers would be sick as well, loopstation beatboxers can do good on tracks like this.)
