I'm halfway through this first lecture and I can already sense that these lectures will be extremely helpful/informative. I really liked the analogies you make and the references on slides are also great. I sometimes note them down to research later and sometimes just pause the video and look for them. I personally intend to follow and study all lectures thoroughly, please keep sharing them. Thank you very much!

It is fascinating. I believe, however, in this case one needs an approach which requires a deeper understanding of the hardware physics/chemistry to properly address the problem. If the data corruption is intrinsic to the tecnology due to factors like charge transfers in a complex set of fields, material imperfections in the substrate, doping variations, lithography resolution issues, etc. such technology will eventually (soon) become impractical.

You sound so optimistic and excited about pushing the programmer away. I think that most programmers would agree that we'd like the architecture to give us the power!

Ryzen zen 2 brags about it's internal optimization and how users can't even read some values. I thought they were the open source heroes, it seems we have all been abstracted away. *well screw that, I will reverse engineer, do what I have to do, but I will gain control, I will tell core x to populate register n with whatever I want. Regardless of the implications. A warning I may break my computer might be ok, but don't lock me out!*
