at 3:30 you ve said powering vtx from main battery pad. But you can also do it with vbat pad which is 2 left of the vtx pad.

Your videos are awesome, so far every question I have had about building my own drone you seem to have an excellent video explaining and in very good detail. Not sure if you have a video like this but I would love to see a comprehensive troubleshooting video what to look out for if something goes wrong with drone. On my last three builds I've started getting power for the camera from 5v out from the VTX, I've noticed there is a lot less noise. It all started when I hooked my runcam swift2 to the VCC and noticed some wavy lines, switched it to use the 5v from the vtx and it was gone. I'm going back to my older builds and redoing it that way. I wish I knew the science behind it.

Great series. Well done. Btw, most PDB's have a 5V and a 12V BEC output (like the Matek Systems PDB-XT60 shown at 4:45). Why not connect camera to 12V pad instead of Vbat (cleaner supply after regulator)?

As long as the 12V BEC can sustain 100ma it should be able to comfortably sustain 800mw power signal or below on any VTX.

Wow! Hi, i started with hd, but did buy a trex~2.5 reaper vtx~ n a v4 lolipop antenna. justwish i was quading 6~8 years ago .Good video i subbed about a year ago.took me over 18 months to buy all the gear to fly with non dji. i seen how easily they could keep you. not sayin there rubbish either.not for a poor man i do like there flight times though, couldnt buy an s8 20000 for LOL.peace

Thank you so much. Been looking everywhere 600mw ts832 powered off the wrong spot next to vtx . Video only goes 50 yards and starts cutting accidentally got the answer from you. I assumed if they have a pad for all the wires and osd even 3 volt for satellite spectrum. So I'll move red and hope its finnaly working

For the 5v board, do you just layer the red wire on top of the battery wire or wrap them together or keep them separate on the + lead? Planning to do this on my quadcopter
