Well this is depressing. Lowering the requirements for the end game rods which should genuinely be buffed and making exp even easier along with the 2x exp event and making cash essentially a non issue because of 2x cash. It really just undermines the work it took me and many other players to get to level 750 and to get as far as we are with no changes to buffing the rod but instead making it easier to obtain

I could imagine these quests could be rather interesting, like maybe you have to catch a specific type of fish, or high numbers of a certain fish. But one thing I’m rooting for a bunch of fish based on Christmas from each day you gotta catch, and they are very hard to catch, emitting a red and green (or red and white) exclamation mark when one of the is on your rod when your fishing. Rarity bring Seasonal. Reward being a specific rod like X-mas rod or Santa’s caster. Extra rod being reindeer rod found somewhere around the event area Another award could even be a specific item to help you around e.g. flippers.
Or a boat like Santa’s sleigh. would be very interesting for this event.
