I was told to drink as much as possible and I took that very seriously. I kept drinking it every 30 minutes until I could literally only throw it up. Every once in a while I smell the distinct sweet smell and it brinks me right back.

I paid $12 copay for pill form prep. Well worth it, you just drink water with this method. 😊

based off of all the videos I watched for guidance, I was prepared for the awful taste but was pleasantly surprised. I don't know what everyone else had but I mixed mine with water like the directions said and downed it with no issue. tasted like grape with salt water.

Biting down on a lemon after each big sip was the only thing that got me through this without puking all over the place. It worked really well.

I just had my colonoscopy yesterday. I found that if I drank some chicken broth between gulps, it helped. Since the solution is more salty, it made sense to chade it with a salty broth rather than trying to mask it with something sweet. But i was so over it about 2/3 of the jug, i was willing to undergo getting a nasogastric tube to get the rest down. I feel like that NG tube would be so much more bearable than having to taste it.

You know, I recently had one, not my 1st, and when I tell you I was DONE a 1/3 of the way through the 1ST prep dose. I was putting so much cream on, oh lord, I was crying. UNBEARABLE. In the end, I couldn't leave the house for my appt, I was so annoyed.
When I spoke to the consultant they gave me a lite version, miralex I think, soooo much better. Tasted nice, no crazy volume to drink, and no terrible outcome, just did its job. I'll never have 1st kind of prep again.
