The virus is transmitted via respiratory droplets, so maintaining physical distance from people can help protect you and others. People are staying inside, working from home, and only going out for essential activities. But how long will this period of social distancing last? Unfortunately, no one knows for sure. The answer is complicated, and it partly depends on our actions.

One detail is wrong. Korea did not beat this by social distancing. They did it by testing everyone who's symptomatic, isolating positives, then testing all the contacts of the positives and so on. Test, trace, and isolate model. Positives were being isolated but everyone else was going about their business, going shopping, eating out, etc. Obviously a much less disastrous method to people's livelihoods.

Not one mention about how all of our favorite small businesses/ restaurants are going to go under and everyone will lose their jobs in those industries. Bail out small businesses. Giving $1, 200 to everyone is not intelligently thought out. $1, 200 to someone in Arkansas is great. $1, 200 to someone where I live won’t help me pay my rent if I’m literally forced to not work by the government. The government created this problem. Bail the people out this time and not the banks.

As an introvert, I can't believe I'm saying this BUT I really would love all of this to be over and just go outside. I've been in quarantine for 2 and a half weeks now and I already hate being forced inside for this long. Sure, I have video games (Thank God for PS4 and Switch), movies and anime to keep me pre-occupied for 16 hours straight before I go to bed but I hate not being able go out and see my friends AND I also hate not being able to go to the gym. Home workout sucks ass.
