wow! and I thought I am back sliding when I decided to quit ministries. When they ask me why I stop doing ministry they all pray for me like something is wrong with me. But in reality I am more connected with Jesus than when I was doing ministries. I was part of the music ministry by the way. Truly that ministry is not based on what you do in the church but with what you do outside the church. And that is where I want to focus on next.

I agree! I spend my days chilling with God too. Together we have transformed my state's Foster Care System, and rescued countless lives from destruction and traumas. Of course, I am only praying, and He is doing all of the hard stuff. : ) He is so good to always answer prayers immediately! Before I even knew Him, I cried out in desperation for His help to save the children in my state three years ago. I simply couldn't take the thought of thousands of children suffering again another year, because I failed at getting the legislation passed or the programs and funding needed. I told Him that I couldn't do this fight on my own anymore, and that I was going to need Him to please help me save these kids. I prayed for just one to be rescued a night, but He showed me how the things that I cared about, are the things that He cares about also when He actually rescued 168 children after that first prayer for help. I couldn't believe it, but then I heard a voice whisper, "Ask for bigger"
We have been together ever since! I pray and trust Him, and He makes a way for change and heals and restores! God is so good! He just wants us to care enough to ask Him to step into these terrible situations like sex trafficking, and even the injustices of a speeding ticket, and He will handle it all! He put it in my heart to love what He loves, and He gave me the faith to believe for the impossible, so that He can do the impossible!

May I just note that God being pleased with Jesus was different than him being pleased with us, because first of all Jesus is God himself, and second of all, Jesus had been perfectly obedient to the Father's will even before he officially began his ministry? Not to mention how we are called to make the best use of our time to glorify God in each opportunity we have (Ephesians 5:15-16, 2 Corinthians 10:31).
