Had the big Viper, Futura v3 and the FMS 1500mm a-10 out Sunday. Packing up afterwards, with the field to myself, I stopped to think about past four hours and I came way with one reoccurring thought- “This is as good as it gets. This was what I expected the sport was gonna be like 8 years ago when I was crashing and repairing the Trainers and the push prop gliders.”
Viper 90 is so good!

Forgot- I bought one of those Dynamite GPS’s. First thing I did was turn it on in the truck on 285. It was spot on with the GMC speedometer. (To the exact same mile per hour)
In level flight with the Viper 90 (6s 6000 50c) we got 124 mph. In a dive, downwind we got 130 mph. Very surprised on that top speed.
I would’ve bet the house the stock Futura v3 was faster. Instead, 117 mph was top speed in a dive. (6s 5200 100c)
