I got an ATS 68RFE stage 2 with copilot in 2013. It made the truck into what it always should have been. I had a problem with it going into limp mode from a wiring problem. Burned it up. Sent it to ATS and they rebuilt it. I got the new CoPilot. I thought the 2013 version was good. The new Tow Copilot makes the Stage 2 into a towing beast.

The innovation and problem solving you guys come up with is amazing. My brother just had one of your stage 2 42rle transmissions installed in his Rubicon and LOVES it! Soooo much better than the stock setup, even with all of the aftermarket goodies put in it. The ATS stage 2 is on another planet.

I absolutely love the idea of a Allison transmission, behind the coming diesel. I don't know very much at all about the Allison transmission, but I do know that it is and has always been top of the line in transmissions. I have a 95, 12, valve coming, in my, 95, 3500 DODGE RAM. With the original transmission. I have not had any trouble with it. I am always very very proud to drive my truck, every time I get in it.
I have recently bought a 40-ft motorhome, with a 24 valve Cummings, and an Allison transmission, I can't wait to tear the body off of the Freightliner chassis, and build the biggest baddest longest old school Dodge truck, I'm not sure how to hook everything up clean the body and the engine and the transmission and to try to save as much stuff as I can but hopefully I'll be able to contact you or some help if needed at least for the transmission, absolutely love your videos keep up the good work

OK, here’s what I need a bell housing and fly wheel that will bolt this thing onto a 92-98 12 valve Cummins add a standalone TCM and I’m ready to place my order.

How many gears does the Alison y'all swap in actually have ? I know the 68RFE are usually a 6 speed. And when you put it in manual low, with the Alison you only went through 4 gears? Or did I miss something? Just curious

Must be way easier on a 3rd gen especially the 48re because that transmission is all mechanical except overdrive and TC lock.

Does this conversion give the truck the ability to have a full manual shifting mode? One thing I've always hated about these trucks is that they only have range select, and not a full manual mode. I hate it when I'm headed up a steep hill towing and there's no need to downshift, but the transmission does it anyway. I like forcing the trans to hold its gear. Even the Aisin was guilty of it in my 2016 3500.
