Trump: Got letter from Zelenskyy, Ukraine ‘ready for peace’

U.S. President Donald Trump shared on Tuesday, 4 March that he received a letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy who shared and expressed willingness to negotiate the Russia-Ukraine war.

"The letter reads, 'Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians…” Trump quoted in his address to the U.S. Congress on Tuesday.

Trump also said Ukraine was prepared to sign a rare earth minerals deal.

So Ukraine just surrendered to the US. Not to Russia. In that dialogue at the white house, I can't get over the feeling the Ukrainian President was reasonably courteous despite losing a lot of his people, men, women and children, on the battlefield defending their motherland for a war that was not supposed to happen, had the guarantees by nations more powerful than Ukraine were honored. But I apologize for my remarks. I surrender too. Reflecting deeply, there is an ancient battle. And it increasingly appears, the Devadatta nature is winning. Which means everyone loses.
