Adding and Subtracting Time

I learned more in 4 minutes and 45 seconds than a 45 minute class at school

Everytime the minutes add over 59 you add 40 ....base 60 calculation.
The same works in reverse...just you minus 40.
14:28 + 1:46 = 15:74 + 40 =16:14
14:28-1:46=12:82-40=1242
Simple
A calculation for duration of time.
On a calculator 16:17-1447=170-40 =130
