Judgement of a case were my father was an accused said that there was no evidence found of his presence at the scene on the contrary evidence of his presence in different district was provided and accepted but since its an SC/ST case, accused cant be let off without any punishment even if there is no evidence of accused committing the crime.
Father went to HC and it took 20 years to get acquittal.
In that too it was mentioned that for 1 year if he is caught speaking any foul word in public it will be deemed as evidence for the case and will be punished under SC/ST act.
Its been almost 30 years, case is still going on for honorable acquittal.

Imagine avoiding an SC/ST person for fear of what might offend him or her and that person blaming you for casteism because you talk to everyone else but don't interact with him or her.

I want to say something. What i have observed in the last few months is that most people are blaming courts for the unjust verdict, laws etc. we should always remember that these laws are passed in parliament by the politicians and judges have to give verdict according to these laws.

Rule is more about "majority populism". Today rule is in favour of some section of society . One day some other class - caste - sect will be in majority so the rule will change in Parliament as per population dominanace . Why not make equal laws ? Why no strict laws for fake cases ? Why no fear of law in society ? To get lawless administration. when you want to create social conflict in society you crate laws as per your convenience. Then you get manipur - kashmir as the result .

I used to and still love this country. No matter what, this is the soil i grew up on and the attachment won't go away. But things like these make me want to leave the country... And am sure a lot of general category people agree on this

Best is keep silent in any conflict. Importantly stay away from suvh empowered people, especially government employees
