The municipality "Prespa" is geographically located in the north-west of Greece and borders Albania and North Macedonia.
A special value ecosystem of great global importance consisting of small and large Prespa Lake with a multitude of rare animals and more than 1,500 plant species. Prespes is home to the largest colony of silver pelican in the world, making it one of the most important habitats in Europe.
"Prespa" belongs to Life - Natura 2000, a coherent network of environmental protection areas of the European Union, as well as to the Ramsar Convention, which includes wetlands of international importance.

The people who took their home are Greeks from Turkey. Its a history that needs to be never forgotten and then we can find a way to move forward. Big powers draw borders and change demographics. Today they write the Prespa Agreement which puts a nail on the coffin of all those poor people who were displaced and their suffering never to be remembered again.
