Blue Moon - Ukulele Cover - Jez Quayle

Brummie Strummer reminded me that I haven't uploaded a ukulele video for a long while, so I thought I ought to put that right. Here's a classic song that I love playing on the uke. This is my best attempt at crooning.
Blue Moon was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934. Many different artists have recorded it, including: Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Elvis Presley, Mel Torme, Bing Crosby and the Marcels.
'Blue Moon' is believed to be the first instance of a chord progression that became common in songs of the 1950s and early 1960s. Some call this the 'Fifties Progression'. In the key of C that's: C, Am, F, G. Lots of great songs used this progression (e.g., 'Stand By Me', 'Lipstick on Your Collar', 'Teenager in Lover', 'All I Have To Do Is Dream', 'Take Good Care of My Baby', 'Run Around Sue', 'Oh! Carol', 'Duke of Earl', 'Donna' etc.).
