A student's right to an education ought not to outweigh the rights of everyone else in school to their own lives. A student who assaults or threatens other students or staff ought not to have a right to be on campus at all.

Ok look when I was a teenager I got kicked outta schools just because they said I was a gang member how are kids threatening and having to be searched and still allowed at school ? It should be on the parents to educate and police they're dangerous child . We are being to lenient on these obviously violent kids .

If a student requires a daily patdown, they should be in juvenile hall, not in the same school as well-behaved kids.

IF a troubled teenager MUST be patted down EVERYDAY before he starts class, why was he allowed to go to this school at all? Is it possible this fatal mistake happened for fear of racial issues and associated consequences? It appears like that's what ened here. One is dead and 2 others were shot because some people didn't gave the courage to do the right thing.

What has this world come to. We need to address the mental health and protect our schools. When I was in high school we use to meet at school with our shotguns before heading to the state trap competition. We use to bring our hunting bows in for archery class. My middle school basement had a .22 range in the basement that my dad use to shoot at after school. I'm sure those days are long gone now too.

Glad he's gone. The world is a little bit safer knowing he will never harm another innocent person and the tax payers won't flip the bill to keep him up for decades.
