Agree, great alarm...also had one in a hotel and bought right away....>BUTTTT, yes do you change the brightness of the alarm face - with the time, etc. NOT THE back for the life of me figure how to make the time illumination brighter....can you tell us please...thank you.

The newer version does not have the sleep function, whereby it will automatically turn itself off after 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes. So if you go to sleep, the radio will stay on all night. Why they removed this feature is beyond me.

For turn off LCD dimmer, just hold SCAN button for few seconds and chose LCD setting you like the most

Hard pass for me because I’ve owned the original Horizon back in 2016 and it was awesome until the auto-dimming display gradually became dimmer and dimmer until one day the display went permanently dark and I no longer could read the time. $100+ clock radio reduced to simple Bluetooth speaker. And that was within 3 months of purchasing it. I did receive a warranty replacement from JBL, which is still sitting in its box, unopened (anyone interested?). Many owners of the original Horizon had similar issues with their auto-dimming displays so it’s perplexing that JBL opted to use them again for the Horizon 2 instead of a simple low-medium-bright button. Otherwise i would’ve definitely purchased one. Just a head scratcher.

I would suggest adding some in depth details such as: Auto-dimming, Dimming scale, Snooze times, Buzzer sounds, Backlight scale, Bluetooth auto-sync for Time/Date. I would have got one of those if the Time/Date would automatically update as you connect via BT (similarly as Amazon's Dot & Anker/Soundcore's Wakey, NO MANUAL time/date setting). If Amazon & Anker/Soundcore can do it why JBL didn't. Why Auto-programming/sync? because correcting time will be a chore between now and then.

Hi, is it possible to play whatever song you like from your mobile via Bluetooth connection as a wake-up tune? I mean, for example you set the alarm for 5AM, Bluetooth mode, connected to your mobile. Will it start playing the song at 5AM automatically or do you have to somehow preset the tune on your phone or is this not possible at all?

Does this JBL Horizon 2 have an option to brightness or dimmer the clock numbers, since the numbers are hard to see at night that’s a fail factory problem.
Or I’m the only person that noticed this issue at night?

I just get the horizont 2 Radio speaker and i have 1 big issue.
I'd like set alarm only on weekdays. I dont have options for one day, weekdays and weekends. When i push big button after set lights on the setup is end. In the tutorial i saw next setup is day, ....
Please tell me if i do wrong or?

Can you choose specific days you want it to alarm? Or do you have to turn it off on weekends?

The alarm on this auto-shuts off after about 2 minutes without pressing snooze. Is there a setting to make it stay on to listen to the radio in the morning?

i refunded my product waiting for new one..if same problem comes again i wont buy again ..1st problem :: Ex time show as 8 am ..then after i listen some radio etc suddenly it shows up as 10 happened many times.secondly dab just did not worked for an unknown you have same problem or is this just me ?

Not having DAB radio is a missed opportunity if you ask me, otherwise Another great product from JBL.

Helo! I bought this JBL Horizon 2 clock radio, I managed to do everything you explained and I just couldn't set it to auto off when you turned on the FM radio in 30 minutes, 60 minutes ... (I like going to sleep with the radio on is that it turns off automatically in 60 minutes, it is possible). Grateful!

Is there an option to set up sleep time with 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes just like the original Horizon? For example, if you’re listening to music with lights on, then after setting sleep mode, lights fades out and music gets stopped. I really used this function in the original, and I’d like to confirm that it still exists on this one. Thank you.
