The irony is that when The Simpsons writers portray Morrissey as fat, ugly, crude and someone who spouts crap opinions, and a far cry from the charming, witty and beautiful person he once was, they are are creating the perfect metaphor for their own show.

It’s weird seeing people who didn’t like the Smiths defending someone they would have made fun of just because they don’t like the Simpsons. Almost like the content doesn’t matter as long as it fits their worldview.

It's sad but true. I used to almost hero worship Morrissey and he did do a lot to further Vegetarianism.
I don't recognise the person he is now tbh.

I've always assumed he was gay and I get quite irritable thinking how many people he could have helped by coming out, but I suppose that's a very personal decision... but still! 😅
I wonder sometimes if Morrissey is deliberately trying to 'compose" this bigoted image in order to"go against the grain" and be different?
I would rather that, than accept that he truly is the person he appears to be today!
