Pretty routine way to play it after 4 betting QJ. If you have the heart to mix QJ into your 4 bet range you need to have the heart to make this play

With the preflop action, that was the perfect board for an all in. I wouldn’t do it, but he needs to continue the story.

Technically holding QQ does double block the primary bluff being QJ. So that kinda leaves the 4better with 99, TT, KK or AA (or T9s as a bluff pre). He just got unlucky his opponent had one of the remaining combos of QJ.

It’s a wise fold because all you have beat is a bluff. Only legit hand that does this that QQ is beating is someone with JJ. Folding is the wrong move in this case but It’s just a matter of whether or not you think he’s bluffing

I saw the 4 bet and I thought that was a bit of a risk. Looks to me like Sammartino knew his opponent and figured a shove would get him off the hand. I don't think I could have layed down QQ here.

QQ lost the moment he called a 4bet. He needed to shove or fold there. If you think your opponent has KK or AA, then let it go, don’t be calling 4bets like a donkey

Cant blame him for folding considering the action. If his opponent had any pair 99 or better he was way behind to them all except JJ. And that's what he repped, AA, KK, or flopped set of 10s or 9s.
