Anyone could’ve told you this was a fool’s errand just based on math.

In 24 hours, there’s exactly 1440 minutes. One Piece is currently at 1125 chapters. In order to go through all of it in that time, you’d need to read through a whole chapter on average in just one minute and 16.8 seconds. And that’s not even including the amount of time it takes to pick up and open or put down and close a new volume.

One Piece is a very large commitment. To watch 1000 episodes of the anime saying each episode is 15 minutes. (Skipping recaps and the like) come to 250 hours. That is more then I have watched in the last 15 years. My kids and GF love the story but I just cant give it the time it deserves. I do find it kinda cool I get to experience it through them.

About a year ago I did the math if you remove the recap, the intro and the end credits you still have two weeks plus of Watchtime and that’s if you binge it without eating sleeping and going to the bathroom

When I got into One Piece back in 2014 I watched the whole anime (minus the spa island filler so 660ish episodes) within 3 months and read the manga in 2-3 weeks (all 763 chapters at the time). Nearly killed me. Would not recommend.
