In this segment, I will aim to cover petitions 023-028. The audience is welcome to join in and help me sound smarter than I am. To be clear, I don't represent the denomination of the GMC. I'm just a guy wading through this material as best as I am able. Many people have put their hopes in the GMC. We aim to do our part to bathe it in prayer and do our best to understand what is being presented to the body and why it matters!

The combination of the EUB Confession with the 25 Articles is itself a violation of the Restrictive Rule. The Restrictive Rule allows us to adopt new confessions or articles alongside our 25 Articles, but not replace our trio of doctrinal standards....

The EUB screwed up when they updated their confession in the 1960s and when 50+ Wesleyan scholars produced the "The Faith Once Delivered A Wesleyan Witness" in Jan of 2020, it was weak on Biblical Authority, the Atonement and had a left wing political agenda...
