Hello! New subbie! My locs are a bit past bra strap length and I am trying to figure out different buns that I can do to have my locs up and out of the way. I do not always like to have them down. This video was so helpful!

My locs are between mid back and hip length. had em for 11 years now. i’ve been rocking buns for years and love em, but it’s always been a process and usually involves 2 big hair ties lol (i have 114 locs btw). it’s a tedious process where i’ll put one tie in the same position you did in the video, then ring/twist all the locs until they collapse on themselves into a knot and then secure that with another big hair tie. can be a little hard to manage and get into the position i want and i have to work it a bit. but i’m gonna try this out!! can’t wait to get one of my hands on the snappy tie too. looking like a game changer
