This dude totally encapsulated the struggle of dating in our generation in one song. We are always wondering what the intentions of the other girl/guy is when we are out on a date. Also, simultaneously reaching out to others on tinder/bumble to make us feel more loved and looking for our next date.

I haven't felt a song this close to heart in so long. It both calls us out for looking for someone else, and makes us self conscious that our date has other people to choose other than us (the date at the time)

I'm getting the vibe from the interactions, the acting and the scenery that the third girl we see, given the play ground and car jamming scene, he was more invested in the relationship than she was. The second girl, with the kitchen was the other way around where she was more invested. And the first girl we see is the "last" relationship where we see his growth in how he's taking her out to dinner, seems more like he's trying to be considerate of what she thinks, and is caught off by her "you a player aren't you" as like "I haven't done that in years hold up."
Not to mention we only see him sing the lines "It's shitty cause I'm doing the same to you." with the other two relationships, but never that supposedly "last one"

Even if I'm wrong, that's how I'ma take it cause I think that's a beautiful message that love is about co-operation, and sometimes people just aren't meant to work together.
