Chris Black moved to Tucson from Austin, Texas in the summer of 2007. Black is principally a double bassist, but also performs as a violinist, guitarist, drummer, singer, and pianist as the occasion warrants. ChamberLab is an alt-classic concert series founded by Black in 2010, bringing chamber music to new audiences in strange venues from unlikely composers. ChamberLab brings music to music lovers, wherever they may be found.
