That power connection in the back is primarily for hooking up a trickle charger to keep the battery charged when the vehicle isn't being used for long periods.

Starting saving for a 2014 - 2016 C7 Manual, Z51, w. NPP exhaust, should be ready by summer of 2024, seen many reviews and this is a very good one.

You forgot to mention customers also noted, the Z06 has a tendency to “walk away” from slower cars.

Very informative, and well done video. I own a 2017 Grand Sport 3LT and love it.

I test drove 3 C7s with today's interest rates was out of my range by a lot. 2 months later I picked up a 2017 Challenger SRT392 in Octane Red similar to that C7 color. I'm very happy with the car and the 485HP. 2LT is the sweet spot for C7.

This is a good video.. I have a 14' Z51 stingray w/ manual transmission... this car is truly awesome! So fun to drive. I've never had any issues with this car, I upgraded the exhaust to an AWE axle back (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and have no complaints. This is by far the best corvette.. although I'm sure the C8 might have something to say about that! I'll wait until the ridiculous mark-ups of those come back to normalcy before I consider getting one... also, I wouldn't by a C7 with out the manual transmission, I mean, it's a sports car!!!!

I've owned a 1988 Z51, a 1991 ZR-1, a 2011 CTS-V Yeah Caddilac, but now own a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, convertible, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I've loved all my cars, but this this is the shit...

I have a 2016 C7 base with the A8 transmission. The shifting is very clunky. Shuddering was resolved with the NHTSA recommended triple transmission fluid flush. I bypassed GM’s worst invention ever (Active Fuel Management) with a Range Technology OBD2 port plugin, which works great. No more V4 eco mode in my fricking V8 Corvette. I also pulled the exhaust fuse #42 so none of the exhaust valves close, ever. Aside from those issues, it’s been great and I love it.

The power connection in the rear cargo area is for charging the battery. also, I think the ground effects (front splitter, side skirts and front wheel trim moldings), were added and the sting ray emblem was removed on your friend Rocky's car.

Nice, thorough review. The C7 is next on my list for ownership, although I still have many plans for my first year C5 that consumes all of my working class income. Ahh yes, I can still dream.

He should have explained the traction control button located on the same knob as the engine/drive mode near the armrest. Because if you wanna test it without understanding it first, You better hold on tight.... The car becomes a beast...lol.
Trust me, I know.... lol

Awesome description on all models, I’m in the market and this video has helped me tremendously on narrowing down which model/year is the right one for me.

I’m in the process of buying a loaded 2015 Z51 3LT Magnetic Ride Control, red painted calipers, transparent roof etc one previous owner Stingray with 6, 300 miles on it for 50k. I think that’s pretty good. Less than 7, 000 miles is basically new, for a car whose MSRP was over $70, 000. If you look around a bit, you can find one for a reasonable price now.

4:08 The SDcard for the PDR is in the glovebox. The one in the arm rest is for music files.
