What a ridiculously-convoluted, time consuming process for the desktop installation Adobe. Well done Glyn, great LUTs settings.

Brilliant - I nearly gave up on trying to do this until I came across this video. Excellent. I actually wanted to use a built in photoshop LUTS in Lightroom and it now works. Saving me lots of time

THANK YOU for this! Months ago I searched endlessly and ultimately didn't find a way to get LUTs into Lightroom. Thank you also for the distinction between Classic and CC! Most people seemed to just do Classic. Well done!

Dude, I LOVE YOU!! I was trying to export my luts from VideoLut APP to Lightroom for mobile, you saved, thank you so much!

A special use case for converting LUTs to profiles in LR is that it makes it possible to swap color channels in LR, a procedure often used in processing of color infrared photos.
To achieve this, you would create a LUT in PS that swaps the color channels, and the proceed as Glyn explains here. I believe that Glyn has a previous video where he explains how to make LUTs in PS.

As a RAF veteran it’s nice to see the RAF lut, subbed for the teaching style.

When trying to do this in Lightroom CC my settings folder didn't contain the files I had saved, just folders for presets based on camera manufacturers, such as Apple, Sony, Canon, Samsung, etc. Has Adobe changed how this works on the back end? I promise I followed the instructions to the letter!

FOR WINDOWS users! get the dialogue box to open at 2:30, you need to click the 3 ellipses but keep your mouse button pressed, now drag the pointer (with left mouse button still pressed) over the "create preset" option, then press and hold ALT and then release your mouse button. Ridiculous, but it works!

Just played with this today Glyn, wish I’d used these when I used to do a lot of colour grading. But tried them in Lightroom with my usual mono recipe- what a game changer. Just need to work on my Lightroom selections/masking now.
