Long term the experience with the Audioengine A2+ is awful. I was surprised by the sound quality initially, but within 2 years, the stands on which the speakers are placed just disintegrated into powder. Then the rubbers of the speaker cones themselves degraded and started tearing off resulting in papery noises. Also the speaker stands are purchased separately.

The first pc speakers reviewed is the one I was listening to this review. The Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is absolutely fantastic. I've had mine for a few months now, and the sound is amazing. The Promedia is a golden oldie. It's been around for a few years now, but I would still consider buying one even in 2022.

I've tried many computer speakers at different prices. My old 1976 EPI speakers powered by a Kenwood amp blows them all away. Nothing fancy or gimmiky, just natural crystal clean sound.

I use my Klipsch TRX for my pc obviously. But I also use it for white noise that
comes in the form of thunderstorm and rain to help sleep. Never found any
that worked so well for these 2 sources on the opposite ends of the spectrum.

I'm still rocking the Logitech Z5500 after all these years and trying to find an excuse to replace this system for something smaller, but I'm having a hard time justifying the purchase.

Thank you for this video; I was glad to see your high rating for Klipsch ! I've had the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's for about 10 years until the spring connectors at the base/woofer (for trhe actual desktop speakers) disintegrated! Will buy another set because the highs are great and the bass is very punchy and immersive. I purchased a refurbished pair and they arrived with rattling bass speaker but they were kind enough to refund me, so I will likely go ahead and purchase a *new* pair for $30.00 more hopefully going another 10 years ! This time I want to use a Bluetooth connection ("Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 BT" if they still sell it) to cut down on wires. I wonder: will the speakers be as effective over bluetooth? Thanks again.

I've used Logitech Z5500 THX 5.1 system on PCs for years. Brilliant surround sound. Now replaced by the Z906.

got g560 and they have a common defekt where sound drivers just crash and you have 1-2 seconds no sound and games might stutter while drivers are loading back in. got them 2x and both have same problem on different computers. only fix is buying different speakers. perhaps the sound and rgb is great aslong as its working.

I’m upgrading from the Bose speakers in this video, I’m not surprised to see them in this list though they held up for a long time

I use Genius speakers I got from Amazon they sound great and if you turn them on their sides with some monitors you can use them as a monitor stand like I do. They are a triple speaker designed set of bookshelf speakers

No edifier, no microlab, pfff. If you recommend bose or logitech, you're clearly misleading. People shouldn't waste their money on that.
