Visiting NEXAIOT: Real Industry 4.0 factory

NexAIoT is a subsidiary of Nexcom Taiwan, created specifically to master and demonstrate the concept of Industry 4.0, to apply cloud technology and digitalization first in its own factory, and then to distribute proven solutions to the market.

IPC2U visited the Enterprise War Room at the NexAIoT Huaya plant. This is a number of large screens located on adjacent walls that display all production information, down to the smallest devices. At the same time, this is also a conference room. Thus, from one place you can observe and manage processes and brainstorm on how to improve production performance.

In our video you will see a conceptual diagram of such plant. The main functional nodes are interconnected by lines, and each line contains specific equipment responsible for data collection: protocol gateways, operator panels, servers, and much more.
