INFORMATION about the Play:
This holiday season, experience “A Whynot Christmas Carol” at A.C.T.—a fresh, hilarious twist on a classic!

In the show, the diverse residents of Whynot must bridge their differences in race, political leanings, education level and other demographics to put on a show. The set reflects that story, its own disparate parts becoming whole, in a manner Zinn likened to a collage or palimpsest.

Playwright Craig Lucas challenges the cozy clichés of Dickens with a backstage journey that uncovers the Scrooge in all of us. Expect laugh-out-loud moments, stunning puppetry, and a heartwarming message about connection and community.

A.C.T. is thrilled to welcome the Chocolate Platinum "Soul Line" Dancers onto the stage! Throughout this holiday run, we'll be highlighting the incredible talent of local community partners.
