Shame on that reporter for asking Melissa what “did what I had to do” means. You can clearly see how uncomfortable she is, because everyone already knows what that means.

Hope Melissa lives a happy rest of her life.

This is absolutely incredible and heartbreaking at the same time. So happy they were reunited and able to see each other after all this time apart.

Just crazy, I'm delighted for the family. May they spent many years happily together again.

This is tragic, bittersweet, and wonderful all at the same time. I hope they live out the rest of their lives together in love and peace.

the woman who kidnapped her should face justice, it's great she's been reunited with her family but 51 yrs is a lifetime and the perpetrator deserves to be judged
