We from belgium have been using pick & dip for years. Normally when your right handed you go from left to right and spread the mortar for 2 bricks at a time, so you can lay way more bricks and spend less time laying the mortar.

Yes! But the 6-12 months it takes to become proficient there’s perp’s and beds not completely filled. That’s why they teach traditional to beginners because it fills the joints . I’d love to do a video on Pick and dippers first 50 job’s and check the mortar.
