An excellent version of a favourite song for well over 50 years, beautifully played and sung, breathing new life into it while carrying on the tradition. My daughter, who likes Irish folk music you can - no, you have an irresistible urge to - dance to, loves it; and, although I'm far too old to cut a caper, so do I.

I live in Newfoundland, eastern Canada.I had the pleasure to see this band live in my home town when they toured here last year.Brilliant how they keep the traditional sound alive.Spoke with a few of the band members after the show and hope you guys come back.Saw on the news about the fiddle theft when you's were here.On behalf of the Newfies that love yer music, we are truly sorry that some low life did that.Rock on!!

Great band! These arrangements are so modern and trad at the same time!

In fact, I love that cute blond girl!

'Fusion music' is sometimes a dirty phrase but this band show just what can be achieved by blending tradition and modernity. Perfect.

I have listened to this song hundreds of times by the band Planxty. I love this song and the way you perform it, very tight and clean. Thank you from America, well done!

I think we're missing a first verse, about how he roved out before he met the pretty maid, unless I'm mistaken...

This is not "As I roved out" It's "Raggle taggle gypsy". Nevertheless, besides mixing up titles, it's quite enjoyable.
