Everyone fails to realize that the location of the device is shared to snapchat. You can turn off your location permissions for snapchat. Then it will fail to send you your current location.

Edit: 1. Thanks for the likes. 2. For everyone saying that it still sent the location you might have to go in your settings and turn off permissions for that app.
