"Let's call her Jezebel"
Geez, I wonder where this goes

The "baby of the family" always gets to do things older siblings didn't get to

"Jezebel", and "Nabal"...unsettling right off the bat. The girl is known, but Nabal not so much, he was the first husband of Abigail, one of king David's wives, and he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, to say so. I'm all ears!

Not villain just older sibling. The youngest often gets away with more as parents learn and develop the parenting style.

We’re all villains at some point, growing up with siblings will give you a perspective on how absolutely evil some
Siblings can be to eachother, I did dumb stuff and so did my twin brother but were great now

How can a child be a “villain”? Especially in the single digits?! You were homeschooled, so IF you were a “villain” it’s not like you had some outside bad influences. You thought your younger brother was favored, he probably was, and you acted out. Acted out, like any child would. I understand we all have made poor decisions & treated others poorly at some point in our lives. But most all siblings bicker & don’t get along unless the parents facilitate & enforce harmony.

Nate you could probably write a biography! You have an excellent outlook on life, I hope it translates well to your written prose.

Wow Nate, you went deep. Very interested in hearing more. You might be surprised to hear you are not so very separated from others in the sibling thing. Looking forward to part 3. I do hope y'all's doing better now ❤

Hey nate. Im a victim of abuse from a older sibling, and also was an abusive older brother, but remorse and showing regret and proving by your actions that you are a changed person goes a long way. I ended up completely cutting off my older brother as he never changed but i was able to mend my relationship with my younger brother and we are as close as ever now. Not sure what happened next with you and your brother as i havent watched the rest of this video or the next parts but i had to pause to just say that part.

Honestly if you can really own up and reflect on your mistakes then that shows that you're a completely different person than you were. We need more people that can do that.

I appreciate your honesty and how candidly you're telling the story. Sometimes, we are the villains. It shows great growth and integrity to admit it! My brother is 7 years older than me. Our relationship was always rough, even though I would have followed him to the moon and back. We don't talk now. After Momi passed away, horrible things were said and done on his part. I give it to God and I acknowledge my truth: I cannot be around that level of toxicity. At least you can look on the situation honestly. If only more people could. That's one he'll of an attribute Nate.😇😇😇

I appreciate your honesty. I hope, even if folks don't "like" your story, they will appreciate you telling it and you'll get some catharsis from putting it out there.

bad guy? my dude, you were a CHILD, it was your parents' job to correct your behavior. the way they handled the situation was abhorrent, unless you are skipping some parts, which would be understandable, it's impossible to say everything. but going off of what you said, they failed both your brother and you on that front.

I can feel the emotions about this in your voice. This feels like a form of therapy for you, the emotional vulnerability is palpable. I hope you continue to feel comfortable enough to be this vulnerable and use the opportunity to explore your past. And I hope that, possibly through talking about it or potentially through therapy, you can forgive yourself for how you treated your brother as a child.

Perhaps write a children's / teens book of some sorts about relationships, love for animals, love and overcome fears. You're a gifted storyteller and refreshingly genuine (why we are all here). Best

I the middle child and second girl of a home with 3 kids. My sister is the oldest and number 3 was a boy. The prodigal son. Parents wanted 2 kids but upon my arrival and surprise, I didn’t have a penis! so they decided to try again for a boy. They got one. The son they always wanted, the youngest, and boy did they ever let him get away with a lot of shit. he and I basically hated each other. We were awful to each other. but fast forward 40 years we’re super close. He ended up being super successful. I have a physical disability and he takes such good care of me. He even bought me a place to live near his home. We’ve made amends in the best possible way. His actions let me know how much he loves me, and I endeavor to do my best to show him how much I love him.

When I was young I was very angry with everyone, did many bad things, now I'm 56 and now realize that we all have to take our lumps growing up and it's just universal and I feel you just reiterated that . Good to hear all is much better now...

It’s so funny, how the first conscious thought or most eldest siblings is my younger ones have it easier, we never stopped to think, oh we taught our parents and they improved with the experience of raising the first child, so the next one will seem more attended to, while also having less repercussions because of improved parenting

I have wondered about the rest of the story because I saw earlier videos with other folks working on a garden. I took note that they dressed plain.
I wondered but I didn't want to ask because you don't talk about faith subjects. I admit I'm grateful for you sharing your story.
I won't judge because I am on my own broken path. We all have choices to make in life.

Fascinating, it's really refreshing to find a real, honest, genuine person on Social Media. I just heard another YouTuber declare that he's going to abandon the "safe" algorithm path and just do what he's passionate about.

I really respect your un-veneered honesty.
