Here it comes, television's most exciting hour of fantastic prizes the fabulous sixty-minute Price is Right!

We are showcasing episodes not viewed in decades. Starting from Season 11 (1982), this is the first season when animal furs were no longer offered as prizes, supporting Bob’s advocacy of animal rights in memory of his wife Dorothy Jo.

To celebrate what would have been Bob Barker's 100th birthday, the channel is also featuring episodes from the debut season of The "New" Price Is Right in 1972.

I bet that Ruthie looked real slick cruising the streets in her 1973 Nova, and I bet she took really good care of it, too. She was so grateful to win it.

Getting the 3 at the end first was a very good start to this perfect game. Outstanding!

Man, those models' skirts in the first season were _short_ !

They used a much larger studio back then! That audience is gigantic compared to today. And they kept the lights down. Now it's full bright all the time!

I love Ruthie! She's so bubbly and Bob's enthusiasm made the show fun! Right up to his retirement. RIP

Those models’ skirts WERE short, even for the early ‘70’s! I am so happy her prayers were answered!

From 1972 to 1986, the Piggy Bank was always smiling, but its smile would be absent once it was moved to the later golden oval shaped Any Number board panel which is still in use during the Drew Carey era.

I was thinking to myself what $2, 873.00 would buy in todays market, and my answer was maybe one wheel. Or maybe just the hubcap.

Happier to be on stage than winning a steam bath she'd most probably never use.

Does this mean 70s shows are finally coming to the channel?

I don't think that anyone else in either the Barker, or Carey, runs of this show has ever done with Ruthie did here.
