G37 hands down. IMO the sedan actually. I own a 2011 G37X sedan. Reliable as hell, decent room, amazing in all weather, intake, exhaust, test pipes, tune, lowering springs, Konig 19" wheels on continentals, Spyder headlights, tint black on black ext/int- it just looks so good and it moves very well straight and around turns

I legit had to make this exact decision a few months ago. After much thinking and comparing I went with a 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. I absolutely love it but I'm sure I would have loved the Infiniti just as much

First car I bought for myself was a 2010 G37S Coupe, I bought a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track the next year and I can tell you, the Genesis Coupe was much more fun to drive but the Infiniti was more luxurious and felt higher quality inside.

Although I think the Genesis looks and sounds better, the transmission issues alone would make me lean towards a G37

Parked my 3.8 Genesis beside a G37 as the guy came back to it. He asked me about mine and I let him have a look around. He then told me he figured he got hosed on the G37. The interior is nicer in the G37 but overall there isn't enough difference to justify the price gap. And the Genesis is a wee bit faster and has a better warranty. Both nice though.

I actually DID get a Genesis Coupe, and it has not disappointed me. I chose it for 2 main reasons: the exhaust note, and styling. But I will say Hyundai's QC might not have been as good during the Genesis Coupe production, as they are now with their cars. Mine hasn't had most of the problems (knock on wood) as what I have heard. It does have 2 different weird creaks, but they have become easily ignored over time. In fact, one of those creak noises wasn't even apparent to me until I had a chance to really take it through all driving conditions that I will likely ever put it through.

My first car is my current 8th gen civic so I'd have zero problem living with it and modding it. If I had the money, I would have k-swapped and put a mugen kit on it a while ago.
