Important thing to note, the unlimited uploads to Google Photos being touted is NOT the unlimited "original quality" you get with other Pixel phones, instead it's the "high quality" option that compresses everything you upload (and also downscales photos and videos to 16MP/1080P). You can still dive into the settings and upload in "original quality" from the 3a if you want, it'll just eat into you Google Drive storage space just the same as it would uploads from any non-Pixel phone (and just the same as any other phone can also choose the unlimited free "high quality" compressed uploads that Google is disingenuously touting here as a special feature when it's absolutely NOT unique to the 3a in any way).

I've heard people say you can legally keep a mis-delivered package. I don't think that is always true but it doesn't matter. The only rule you need to follow here is the golden rule. Thankfully your neighbor did the right thing.

My wife has the original Pixel and she need an upgrade. Could you please let me know if it would be a suitable upgrade or should I look for something else budget. She really wants a phone with a better camera so I think this should do. Thank you.

I'm have committed to the Apple ecosystem in the last couple of years with iPhone and AppleTV. But, if I was going to get an Android phone, the Pixel is the only one I would consider because it has an unadulterated Android OS experience and the updates aren't carrier dependent. You know, just like Apple's iPhone.
