How much did YouTube pay me? Your questions answered

One week ago I posted a film about the amount I got paid in 2023. Usually I would expect a few thousand views, but this has hit 30,000 so far and loads of people have asked loads of questions. So here, I share the stats behind the film and do my best to answer questions about how YouTube works. This is my understanding. I don't talk about algorithms, CPM or RPM and all that, just trying to keep it straight forward.

I watched You tube for a couple of years before I realized by subscribing and liking helped the person you were watching. I subscribed, but didn't hit the all -didn't know to until I watched someone that explained it how hitting the like helps also and now on that channel on every new film they ask people to subscribe all and hit the thumbs up to help them. I think people watch and don't realized how it helps. I love how you openly explained everything and hope your audience continues to build. Thank you.
