I JUST watched this movie yesterday because I saw an edit of this couple on YouTube lol. The timing of this is impeccable.😅😅😅

Setoyama never liked Erino. He liked the message on the desk which inspired him to never give up and wanted to date the girl who wrote it. Ig he already knew the girl was Nozomi as at the beginning, we see him approaching her. But Setoyama saw Erino cleaning up that desk so he thought the message was written by her. That is why he wrote her name in the diary. After he found out that the message was actually wrote by Nozomi, he still did not confront her becuz he liked talking to her through the notebook. He liked her even more becuz of her personality. He was waiting for her to speak up first as we can see that when the notebook ends, he writes- 'who are you?' and then confesses finally nd properly. He has always liked Nozomi. U can see that Setoyama really loved and cared for her as he did not even see the person but liked her becuz of her words. EYES NEVER LIE. hope it helped <3
